If geography isn’t your strongest point, this will help. The interactive games make the subject compelling and help you to remember what you’re learning.

What will I learn?

The geographical locations of countries, rivers, mountains, cities and landmarks across the globe. You’ll also find statistics, such as the populations of countries, heights of mountains, and when volcanoes last erupted.

How does it work?

user

Select a continent and explore it. Try to memorise the locations of the countries, cities and landmarks, do a practice game, and then test yourself against the clock. You’ll be awarded points for correct answers, and you can review your progress on any of the continents and topic areas to see how well you’re doing.

Hear the place names in British or American English (names such as “Xixabangma Feng” can be tricky to pronounce by just reading the word.)

Test yourself, students or friends. Print out maps then fill in the countries or cities of the world and see how many you can get right.
