This corner video footage is for display purposes only – there is intentionally no sound to the video and it is not part of the main activities on the disc. If your sound is working correctly you should hear music on the topic selection screen, but no speech.

To check that speech is being played correctly, select one of the topics and click ‘Phrases – practice.’

You should hear a speaker in the source language (i.e. the language you are learning from) repeat the phrase shown on the screen.

If you continue to hear nothing, please ensure the sound drivers are up-to-date and that the computer speakers are not muted.

You can also adjust the volume settings on the disc using the volume toggle located at the bottom of the screen in the centre.
